Have you been looking for that special someone to share your life with, only to find it challenging to work out who she might be? In many cases, broadening your horizons might be just the option you need to find breathtaking women to date – who knows, you might even find that one individual who gets you! However, if you’ve been unsure where to look, considering the characteristics of Singaporean women could help. With this thought in mind, today, we’re looking at some of the critical things you need to know to help inform your decision. Singapore is a large maritime country in Southeast Asia, covering approximately 730 square kilometers. The country has a total population of around 5.6 million people, making it one of the most densely populated countries in the world, with approximately 7,800 people per square kilometer. The country has a total GDP of about $702 billion, and the per capita GDP is one of the highest in the world at over $130,000.
The history of Singapore commences just before the 14th century in 1299 with the Kingdom of Singapura. However, by the early 17th century, the country faded into obscurity after the Portuguese raided the country. This event would pause the country’s history for several generations until 1819, when the country was resettled by the British, who were looking for a new port location. This action was agreed upon through a formal treaty in February 1819. Then, in 1824, Singapore fell under the complete control of the British. It would later become the Straits Settlements’ regional capital in 1836. Over the following generation, the population of Singapore grew substantially, climbing from several thousand people to around 80,000, many of whom were of Chinese immigrant origin. The country then remained relatively stable for almost 100 years, missing most of the chaos of the First World War but being severely affected during the Second World War, which led to widespread chaos and violence. Singapore became a separate Crown Colony in 1946 and a fully independent country in 1965 when it became the Republic of Singapore.
Generally, Singaporean women are incredibly diverse in their traits and physical attributes. This extensive range is primarily the result of the country’s unique range of ethnicities. The majority of the population of Singapore is Chinese in ethnicity, accounting for nearly three-quarters of people; however, around 13.5% of Singaporean women are Malay, 9% Indian, and about 3.2% of other ethnicities. That said, most Singaporean women and men have relatively tanned skin, dark brown or black hair, and slender builds. They often have very large eyes and thin facial structures, as well. The average height of women in Singapore is 5’3″, making them slightly on the shorter side of the global average. They are often very professional and tend to dress relatively conservatively and in a simple manner, which can be different from many people in Western cultures. However, Chinese influences also occasionally come through in terms of formal attire. Women from Singapore live very different lives than women from, e.g., Italy, Portugal, and Germany. As such, when dating a woman from Singapore, it’s worth considering that they will often try their best to please their partners.
