In the section above, you got an introduction to Slavic women from a more general perspective, but as we mentioned, the Slavs can be divided into three subgroups; East Slavs, West Slavs, and South Slavs. So let’s go into detail and examine each group one at a time. Beginning with East Slavs and the characteristics of the women living in Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus. Women from these countries are probably the most attractive, regarding looks and sexiness. Green cat-like eyes, distinctive facial features, slim bodies, and fair skin. Furthermore, women in all three countries tend to be sexy and feminine regarding how they dress, their long hair, makeup, and high heels. To see a woman going to the baker or the supermarket or driving her car in high heels is more or less a given. In Russia and Ukraine, many cities even have high heels running competitions, where young women run in high heels at an incredible speed, which is somewhat hard to describe. Instead, you have to watch this video. When it comes to how women in Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus dresses, most women dress to kill and impress.

Beautiful colorful dresses, sexy hotpants, or tight fashion jeans make men’s heads turn at street corners or fancy nightclubs where hundreds of women dance the night away on the weekends. To get an idea, here are some videos from the famous Odessa nightclubs Ibiza, Aura, and Itaka on the Black Sea in Ukraine. Hence, East Slavic women do their utmost to look as sexy and attractive as possible in contrast to western women and, to some degree, also women from other Slavic countries. When it comes to the mentality of East Slavic women, they are often perceived to be somewhat reserved and hard to impress. Thus, for men trying to date an East Slavic woman, he has to go through a set of unwritten rules that apply to East Slavic dating etiquette. Things in Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus are done the old-fashioned way, and thus, when it comes to dating, a man has to earn the privilege of taking a woman out. Often done by bringing flowers, inviting to restaurants, and being the gentleman of the century.

Another characteristic of East Slavic women has to do with their temperament. East Slavic women keep their cool and are pragmatic about most issues. Thus, approaching life from a rational standpoint, trying to find the best workable solution to whatever problem needs to be resolved. Yet, don’t be fooled; it only takes a minor spark for an East Slavic woman to change from calm and pragmatic to an inferno of temperament. Men in East Slavic countries are known to take little interest in pleasing their women, and often they are unfaithful and even abusive towards women. Therefore, causing a lot of problems for women when their temperament reacts to being unfairly treated. E.g., in Russia alone, it is estimated that over 16 million violent cases of abuse occur every year, perpetrated by husbands or boyfriends. Regarding values, East Slavic women tend to be conservative. Thus progressive feminist ideas are not widespread in Russia, Ukraine, or Belarus, and women generally don’t try to enter the male domain if they can avoid it.

Having gone through some of the characteristics of East Slavic women, we now move on to the West Slavic women. The countries where West Slavic women live are Polen, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia. All three countries are members of the European Union and have been for some time. Thus, today West Slavic women are not nearly as conservative and traditional in their belief system as women from Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus. Also, they get married later and have children later than East Slavic women. When it comes to traditional gender beliefs, women, especially from the Czech Republic, and Slovakia are today much more westernized and have adopted values such as the right to free abortions, homosexuality is more accepted, and atheism is widespread in both countries. In Polen, women are still more conservative, and social issues such as abortion and homosexuality are not accepted to nearly the same extent as in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Polish women are likewise less progressive and tend to value traditions more than women from the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In regard to looks and sexiness, West Slavic women tend to be blonder and to be more curvey than women in the East Slavic countries. Moreover, West Slavic women don’t spend nearly as much time on their looks and how they dress compared to women from Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus. In West Slavic countries, women tend to dress more or less the same as women do within the European Union in general. Thus, they are not as sexy-looking and feminine as East Slavic women. Where women in Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus are known for their beautiful dresses, sexy miniskirts, high heels, and slim bodies, West Slavic women wear casual jeans, trainers and tend to be less interested in their bodily features. When it comes to men and West Slavic women, women from the Czech Republic and Slovakia do pretty much have the same attitude towards men as in most western countries.

Thus, men are more and more sidetracked, and more and more women from the Czech Republic and Slovakia, like in the West, will rather live alone than with a man. In Polen, women still, to a larger degree than women in the West, and women from the Czech Republic and Slovakia, prefer to live with a man and establish a traditional family. Likewise, women in Polen are more into fitness, and they tend to dress a little more feminine than women from the West and the Czech Republic, and Slovakia. However, the trend in Polen is moving towards a more westernized belief system, and most likely, 10-15 years from now, everything in Polen will be more or less the same as the rest of the European Union. Regarding the mentality of West Slavic women, they tend to be more focused on everyday issues and not so much on the different ideologies and doctrines that women in the West spend their time on. Thus, you can argue that even though West Slavic women of the past couple of decades have become more and more westernized, they still to this day are more pragmatic than women in the West.

We provided you some insights into East and West Slavic women regarding their characteristics in the sections above. Now we’ll look at the final group of Slavic women, who live in Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Slovenia, i.e., the South Slavic women. South Slavic women are from the Balkan Peninsula that used to be the old Yugoslavia. In terms of appearances, South Slavic women tend to be more diversified than women from both East and West Slavic countries; thus, you find all kinds and types of women with different characteristics. However, if you have to generalize, South Slavic women from the south tend to be taller and more dark-skinned with brown eyes and dark hair, whereas women from the north are shorter and not as dark-skinned and with a higher frequency of women being blond and with blue and green eyes. When it comes to sexiness and beauty, the women from Croatia and Serbia tend to be the most attractive. 

Whereas women from Slovenian tend to be cuter rather than classical attractive. Of course, the world’s most famous Slovenian woman is Melania Trump, the former first lady to the United States, who used to be a model. Women from Bosnia, Macedonia, Montenegro, and Bulgaria tend to be darker-skinned with brunette hair and brown eyes and a little more curvey than, e.g., women from Croatia and Serbia. Regarding how South Slavic women dress, you can say that they dress a little more feminine than West Slavic women; however, they are in general much more casual than Russian, Ukrainian, and Belarus women. In terms of family and children, South Slavic women tend to start a family and have children later than East Slavic women but sooner than West Slavic women. Also, men still play a relatively bigger part in South Slavic women’s lives compared to West Slavic women. Thus, South Slavic women still hold on to more traditional values than women in the West and West Slavic women in general. 

Also, like the East Slavic women, South Slavic women tend to be more reserved and harder to date without going through some cultural rituals. For South Slavic women, their family and circle of friends are important, and so is their reputation, especially when it comes to men. Thus, if you want to date a South Slavic woman, your best chance is to get to know her through her circle of friends rather than trying to pick her up in a bar or nightclub. When it comes to casual sex, South Slavic women are known to avoid sex with a man before some deeper relationship has been established. Thus, South Slavic women can be seen as a contrast to West Slavic women, where casual sex is more or less just as common and accepted as in Western countries. Regarding mentality, South Slavic women have a lot in common with the other Slavic groups. Hence, they tend to be more pragmatic than Western women, and issues such as gender identity, feminism, and other progressive ideas favored by Western women are not that prominent among South Slavic women in general.

In the sections above, we looked at some of the main characteristics of Slavic women from three different groups; The East Slavic Women, The West Slavic Women, and the South Slavic women. This final section will examine some of the main differences between Western women and Slavic women in general. It is no secret that pretty much since the 1970s, women in the Western world have become more and more independent of men. Western government and organizations have promoted feminism, liberalism, and progressivism through mass media, movies, educational systems, and governmental policies. Consequently, Western women today have gained more rights and opportunities, but at the expense of sacrificing family and children. Hence, today Western women, e.g., get fewer children and at a later age in life than they used to only a few decades ago. Furthermore, women in the West today prioritize education and careers, which does that they are capable of living a single life without having to be married.

An astonishing 33% of Western women today prefer a single life over life with a husband. In contrast, only 8% of single men prefer to live alone, thus providing a significant deficit of women, who prefer to live with a man rather than live alone. When it comes to Slavic countries, women, to a large extend, still value family and children. Hence, they get more children and at an earlier age than in the West. Also, Slavic women are not as focus on self-realization matters as women in the West, and they prioritize living with a man to a much larger degree than Western women in general. To this day, most Slavic women, if unmarried at the age of 30 and with no children, see themself as failures regardless if they have success in other aspects of life. Mentally, in contrast to Western women, Slavic women don’t tend to see themself as victims of their surroundings, e.g., they believe in a “you reap as you sow” philosophy rather than blaming everybody else for their situation. Consequently, it makes them somewhat stronger and more robust when it comes to solving problems or if they find themself in a difficult situation.

In regard to men, Slavic women tend to prefer men who are competent, with authority, and who are masculine. Whereas in the West, women either don’t want to be with a man at all, and in the case where they do, men often have to behave according to progressive standards where, e.g., having a masculine identity is not accepted. Also, when it comes to Western women, they don’t appreciate their femininity as they used to when, e.g., dressing in beautiful drees or having a man opening the door was considered a virtue. With Slavic women, things to a large extend are still as they used to be in the West; thus, women in most Slavic countries dress more feminine and sexy. However, West and South Slavic women are becoming more Westernized and faster than East Slavic women. Regarding attitudes towards sex, Slavic women are more conservative than Western women, i.e., casual sex is not nearly as widely accepted in most Slavic countries as it is in the West, thus when a man wants to date a Slavic woman, he first has to establish a deeper relationship.
